Weston Stewart

Before transitioning into the financial services industry, Weston worked in logistics for nine years. In 2017, Weston began his career in financial services and later joined Shoemaker Financial in January 2021. While studying for his registration exams, Weston worked in the firm's back office learning the ropes on how to provide excellent customer service to our clients.  

Weston holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Louisville and a master’s degree in human resources from Strayer University. Native to Louisville, Kentucky, Weston currently resides in Mount Vernon, Indiana with his wife, Marissa, and their two Havanese dogs, Nico, and Henry. He is a proud father to his son, Tenzin, who resides in New Jersey.

In his spare time, Weston likes to work on genealogy, travel, try new foods, and read about philosophy and history. He is the author of two published books: Within the Realms of the Mind and Only the Strong Go to the Top. Weston serves as a board member for the following organizations: Community Emergency Assistance Board of Mount Vernon, Friends of Alexandrian Public Library, Posey County Community Foundation, and the Kentucky Genealogical Society.
