Jonathan joined Shoemaker in 2023 with a passion to help people achieve their life goals. He believes that everyone deserves a good financial advisor, no matter their stage of life or current financial status. His diverse client base ranges from young adults who are looking to plan for the future, to clients who have reached retirement and want to ensure the financial stability of future generations.

As a fourth-generation member of a family business, Jonathan has a strong entrepreneurial spirit and desire to help others. Growing up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Jonathan witnessed his family pursue a common goal of growing their business. He saw firsthand the benefit of a financial advisor, who came alongside his family and helped them make important financial decisions that have benefitted them for years. Jonathan hopes to help other families, and business owners, in the same way.

After graduating from Baylor University, Jonathan moved to the Nashville area in 2020 as a member of the inaugural class of the Franklin Fellows Program. He fell in love with the area and people and has enjoyed his time here. You might run into him out in the wild exploring everything Nashville has to offer! He loves any form of live event, especially going to Preds games or a concert at the Ryman. He enjoys spending time with others, whether it’s a heated pickleball match in Franklin, a round of golf at McCabe’s, or a delicious dinner in the Germantown area. He remains involved with the community and volunteers as a youth group leader for high schoolers in Franklin.
