Emily serves as the Director of Operations at Shoemaker Financial. She’s been with the firm since August 2013. She helps oversee the daily operations of the firm, constantly striving to improve the efficiency and cohesion of our various departments to best serve our advisors and clients. Emily has lived the majority of her life in Memphis, TN, though her family immigrated from Canada when she was only 6 months old. Emily has been married to her wonderful husband, Brian, since November 2014. They have two children, Cooper (2019) and Callie (2022), who fill their lives with fun and laughter (and a little bit of chaos). She feels so blessed to be a part of a company that supports her as a working mom. For fun, Emily enjoys reading books, gardening with her family, serving at her church (South Woods), and spending time with her extended family.
