Jim Shoemaker CFP®, CLU, ChFC, CFS
Jim Shoemaker is the former President/CEO of Shoemaker Financial. He began his professional career in the financial services industry in 1973, and in 1978 founded Shoemaker Financial, a firm that represents a fully integrated array of financial services and products for individuals and businesses of all sizes.
Jim received his bachelor’s degree from Mississippi College and has earned several industry designations. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM practitioner, a Certified Kingdom Advisor, a Chartered Life Underwriter, a Chartered Financial Consultant, and Accredited Investment Fiduciary.
He has served as a field seminar representative and counselor for Christian Financial Concepts/Crown Ministries since 1976 and served on their board from 1988 – 2015. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Kingdom Advisors and a former board member of the Premier Resource Group and Securian’s National Advisory Board. Jim also belongs to the Institute of Certified Financial Planners. He has written numerous published articles, been a guest on several national radio shows, and a featured platform speaker. He currently is the host for “Talk Money” a financial radio program dedicated to teaching Biblical Principles of money.
Jim and his wife, Linda, have been married since 1972 and have two adult daughters and five grandchildren. They are members of Bellevue Baptist Church where Jim serves as a deacon and teaches a Bible fellowship class for adults. Jim enjoys fly-fishing, and hunting and is an avid reader.
