Shannon has been with Shoemaker Benefits since 2007 and is the contact for all group employee benefits plans brought into the firm. Before joining Shoemaker he was an independent group health and life agent for 7 years. Shannon specializes in customizing a group’s employee benefits plan to that specific company’s needs.

Shannon was born and raised in Memphis, TN and attended Houston High School. He then attended the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, graduating with a degree in Business Administration in 1999.

Shannon is very active in his church, Hope Presbyterian, where he and his wife Jill have attended since moving back to Memphis after College. He has taught Sunday school and coached basketball teams at the church. He and Jill have been married since 1998 and have three children, all boys.
