Patsy has been a financial advisor for 10 years, and with Shoemaker Financial since October, 2000. Her background is in finance; she is a CPA (inactive) and holds an MBA in finance from New York University, as well as an BA in accounting from University of Memphis. For 20 years she worked in public accounting and in financial management as controller, financial director, or CFO of both private and public companies. Patsy is an active member of both the Tennessee Society of CPA’s and the American Society for Women Accountants. She is a registered representative of Securian Financial Services.

Patsy works primarily with women, with families planning for or in retirement, and with small business owners. She focuses on developing strong personal relationships with her clients as together they create financial plans which will provide security and maximize wealth. She is also a specialist in long term care insurance. Born and raised in Memphis, Patsy also lived in New York City for several years. She enjoys teaching children in her church, as well as participating in women’s Bible studies and leading Crown Financial Ministries’ small groups. Her husband of 16 years is Howard, a consultant and small business owner, and her favorite travel companion.
