Jeremy attended Mississippi College in Clinton, Mississippi. He received an honors leadership scholarship while also playing football all four years. He received a degree in Business Administration with major in marketing.

He spent 6 years in the mortgage banking industry in Jackson, MS with BankPlus and Citizens National Bank. In 2005 Jeremy moved to Memphis and started Shoemaker Mortgage. Since then he has become a registered representative as well as an investment advisory representative with Securian Financial. Jeremy works primarily with Shoemaker Financial’s Investment Advisory clients and company 401k plans.

He holds FINRA Series 7 and 66 registrations and is licensed to sell life, health, long term care, disability insurance, fixed and variable annuities.

Jeremy was born in Jackson, Mississippi and grew up in Flora and Carrolton, Mississippi where his parents and brother still reside. He and his wife Kirsten have two children, a boy and a girl. He is a member of Bellevue Baptist Church and enjoys golf, hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.
