David has been with Shoemaker Financial since 1995. He is a Registered Representative and Investment Advisor Representative of Securian Financial Services. David made MDRT (Million Dollar Round Table) in 2007. He has also become a partner at Shoemaker Financial and mentors new advisors. David is an Accredited Investment Fiduciary through the Center for Fiduciary Studies.

David is a member of Associated Builders and Contractors and was asked to be a guest speaker at their 2001 Convention. He also serves as a member of the Financial Planning Association, Premier Resource Group (a study group of successful financial advisors), The Independent Electrical Contractors Association and is a board member of Mid-South Christian Sportsmen.

David received a B.S. from Mississippi State University and an M.B.A. from the University of Memphis.

He is active in his community and serves the American Heart Association, IMPACT Ministries, and Longview Heights Church. David and his wife, Leslie, have two children.
