Thomas “Mac” Jenkins
Mac has been in the financial services industry since 1991 and with Shoemaker Financial since May, 1992. Mac began his career as a financial advisor in 1992 until he was charged with heading Shoemaker Benefits Corporation in 1998-2001.In 2002 Mac moved into firm management as a Managing Director where he was responsible for recruiting and development of a unit of advisors. He received the Firm Management Award in 2003. He was promoted to General Manager in 2004 and then to Managing Partner of Shoemaker Financial in 2009. Today he is responsible for the Sales, Recruiting, Training, and Marketing for Shoemaker Financial. Mac holds FINRA Series 6, 7, 24, and 63 Registrations and is licensed to sell Life, Health, Long term Care, Disability Insurance, Fixed Annuities and Variable Annuities. He is both a Registered Representative and Investment Advisor Representative of Securian Financial Services, Inc. Mac works with Business Executives, Business Owners and other individuals to help achieve financial dreams and goals.
Mac received his B.A. from the University of Mississippi with majors in Banking and Managerial Finance. Mac is a past president and managing partner liaison of The Agency Management Resource Group (AMRG) is a peer network of Recruiters, Sales Managers, Trainers, Marketing Directors, Operations Managers and Managing Partners affiliated with Securian. Its mission is to provide an educational, networking and feedback forum for members. By sharing information and best practices, AMRG members develop professionally and contribute to the advancement of their firms. As a self-governing organization, members voluntarily invest their time and talents for mutual benefit. Mac is married to his wife Amy and live in Germantown, Tennessee. They have 2 daughters Anna Leigh and Mary McRae. Mac and Amy are members of Germantown Baptist Church, where he is a deacon and member of the choir. He enjoys spending time with his family, golf, softball, hunting, and fishing.
