Jeremy T Jones
Shoemaker Financial Exec. Vice-president Jeremy Jones is a dedicated industry leader. He offers his clients a full spectrum of financial services and products to serve families in the Mid-South and beyond.
Reaching a new height in his career, Jeremy qualified for the elite Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) Top of the Table forum for 2012. He was also welcomed to the MDRT's exclusive Court of the Table in 2010 and 2011. Among his many accolades, Jeremy garnered Securian's Excellence in Performance award in 2011, 2010 and 2009. Also in 2009, he was named Securian's Gold New Advisor of the Year, a title given to Securian’s second highest producing new Advisor.
Jeremy joined Shoemaker Financial as the General Manager of the mortgage division in 2005. Three years later, he became an Investment Advisor Representative and a Registered Representative of Securian Financial Services, Inc. In addition to working with individual clients on their financial goals, Jeremy oversees the Financial Planning Investment Advisory and Employer Sponsored Retirement Plans divisions at Shoemaker Financial. He entered Shoemaker with a wealth of experience in the banking industry, having left Citizens National Bank as a senior vice president. He had also worked with BankPlus in Mississsippi.
Jeremy holds FINRA Series 7 and 66 registrations and is licensed to offer life, health, disability and long-term care insurance products, as well as annuities. Continuing to broaden his education, Jeremy has earned a Certificate in Financial Planning from Christian Brothers University in Memphis. He attained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Mississippi College.
Jeremy grew up in Flora and Carrolton, MS, where his parents and brother remain today. Jeremy and his wife, Kirsten, are members of The Refuge Church, Memphis. There, they lead an outreach fellowship called a Gospel Community Group. They have two children, Trotter and McKlain. In addition to spending time with family, Jeremy enjoys golf, college football and the outdoors.
Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) is an independent membership organization of life insurance and financial service professionals. Membership levels are based on commissions, premiums, or fees generated within a year from investment and insurance products. Members must apply annually and pay a fee. Members must be members in good standing of a Professional Association which has met the following criteria: in existence at least 2 years, have 100 or more members, must be a nonprofit organization, must have a code of ethics and an effective means of dealing with breaches of its code.
