Mac Jenkins
Mac has been in the financial services industry since 1992 and with Shoemaker Financial his entire career. Mac began his career as a financial advisor in 1992 until he was charged with heading Shoemaker Benefits Corporation in 1998-2001.In 2002 Mac moved into firm management as a Managing Director where he was responsible for the recruiting and development of a unit of advisors. He received the Firm Management Award in 2003. He was promoted to General Manager in 2004 and then to Managing Partner of Shoemaker Financial in 2009. Today he is responsible for Sales, Recruiting, Training, and Marketing for Shoemaker Financial. Mac holds FINRA Series 6, 7, 24, and 63 Registrations and is licensed to sell Life, Health, Long term Care, Disability Insurance, Fixed Annuities and Variable Annuities. He is both a Registered Representative and Investment Advisor Representative of Securian Financial Services, Inc. Mac works with Business Executives, Business Owners and other individuals to help them achieve their financial dreams and goals.
Mac received his B.A. from the University of Mississippi with majors in Banking and Managerial Finance. Mac is a past president of The Securian Leadership Forum. This is a peer network of Recruiters, Sales Managers, Trainers, Marketing Directors, Operations Managers and Managing Partners affiliated with Securian Financial Services. Mac has served on Securian’s National Advisory Board for the past four years and is currently serving as the 2019 chairman. He also serves on the Talent, Acquisition and Development sub-committee for Securian Financial.
Mac is married to his wife Amy and lives in Germantown, Tennessee. They have 2 daughters Anna Leigh and Mary McRae. Mac and Amy are members of Germantown Baptist Church, where he is an active deacon and teaches boys 10th and 11th grade Sunday school. He enjoys spending time with his family, golf, softball, hunting, fishing and being outdoors.
