Cullen West
Cullen West is a Memphis native who attended MUS and is an active member of Second Presbyterian Church. Growing up, Cullen often volunteered, mainly focusing on special needs programs. From a very young age, he knew he wanted to serve his community and help others.
Cullen graduated from the University of Memphis in 2015, after which he founded a company that helped YouTubers build marketing strategies. He then went on to be an analyst for banks including Trustmark and Metropolitan, but he found that work didn’t fulfill his goals of aiding people to pursue their goals. That’s how Cullen found Shoemaker Financial.
In 2020, Cullen interviewed with and began his career in financial planning with Shoemaker Financial. His qualifications include licensing to sell health and life insurance as well as the Series 7 Securities Registration. Cullen’s main goal in joining Shoemaker was always to help people prepare for their short and long-term financial goals. The work he does at Shoemaker feels very rewarding in that way as he’s watched his clients’ successes. He loves working with teachers, medical professionals, small businesses, young couples, and families.
Cullen still lives in Memphis with his wife, Daria, a teacher at Lausanne Collegiate School. He enjoys cooking, playing board games with friends, volunteering with special needs organizations, and biking around Shelby Farms. He’s an avid Grizzlies fan and loves the Tennessee Vols.
