Tal Goldsby graduated with a B.A. in Business Administration from Rhodes College in 2003. He has been with Shoemaker Financial since 2004.

He holds FINRA Series 7 and 66 registrations and is a Registered Representative and Investment Advisor Representative with Securian Financial Services, Inc. He is licensed to sell Life, Health, Long Term Care and Disability Insurance, Fixed and Variable Annuities, Securities and Individual Stocks. Tal works with people in the medical field and helps them organize their financial goals. He also spends a lot of time working with clients on their retirement goals and plans that will enable them to fund their retirement. This includes working on investments, tax reduction strategies*, insurance, and estate planning.


Tal is an avid outdoorsman and spends most of his weekends hunting and fishing with his wife Natalie. Natalie is a Registered Nurse and works for Anesthesia Services of Memphis. Tal is originally from the Memphis area and went to high school in Akron, Ohio. He serves as Chairman of the Memphis Chapter of Ducks Unlimited, and he heads up an Alumni Organization that raises funds for the football program at Rhodes College.
